There may have been a building on the property, built in 1860, or <a href=\"https:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=TuA1AQAAMAAJ&#038;lpg=PA348&#038;ots=qKWQfIS7pt&#038;dq=clinton%20k%20lambson%20westfield&#038;pg=PA348#v=onepage&#038;q=clinton%20k%20lambson%20westfield&#038;f=false\">Lambson<\/a> may have erected a new commercial building, c. 1868. <a href=\"https:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=hbYJjFoPd-kC&#038;lpg=PA53&#038;ots=sZhMzIbc69&#038;dq=Lambson%20Furniture%20Co%20westfield&#038;pg=PA53#v=onepage&#038;q=Lambson%20Furniture%20Co%20westfield&#038;f=false\">The building<\/a> would be home to Lambson Furniture Company for over 120 years. <a href=\"http:\/\/tommydevine.blogspot.com\/2009\/12\/westfield-wanderings.html\">Up to the mid-1980s it was run by Rita Devine<\/a>. As was common of furniture stores at the time, the company also included <a href=\"https:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=tBYtAQAAMAAJ&#038;lpg=RA2-PA108&#038;ots=hgURXwwfLg&#038;dq=Lambson%20Furniture%20Co%20westfield&#038;pg=RA2-PA108#v=onepage&#038;q=Lambson%20Furniture%20Co%20westfield&#038;f=false\">an undertaking business<\/a> in its earlier years.
