Sawyer. He served as Town <a href=\"https:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=rPwWAAAAYAAJ&#038;pg=PR20#v=onepage&#038;q&#038;f=false\">Selectman<\/a> from 1885 to 1890 and as assessor in 1893. The house was later home to his sister-in-law, Mrs. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wikitree.com\/wiki\/Hosmer-604\">Eli Hosmer<\/a>, and Mrs. George Morse. In 1952 the house became a two-family residence but is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.trulia.com\/homes\/Massachusetts\/Harvard\/sold\/1747873-9-Elm-St-Harvard-MA-01451\">now single-family again<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The house at 9 Elm Street in Harvard was built in 1893 by Albert A.
