After the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.appleseed.org\/what-to-do-in-massachusetts\/attractions-in-mass\/historic-rt-2\/harvard-shaker-village\/default.cfm\">Harvard Shaker Village<\/a> finally closed in 1917, the <a href=\"http:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/wiki\/File:Fruitlands_Museum_-_exterior_Shaker_Office.jpg\">original Shaker Trustee&#8217;s Office<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/mhc-macris.net\/Details.aspx?MhcId=HRV.200\">built in 1794<\/a>, was moved in 1920 by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fruitlands.org\/clara_endicott_sears\">Clara Endicott Sears<\/a> to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shakerworkshops.com\/shaker-villages-and-museums\/fruitlands-museums.htm\">Fruitlands Museum<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/377598749978834115\/\">become<\/a> a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fruitlands.org\/shaker\">Shaker Museum<\/a>.   <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Shaker community in Harvard began in the 1780s and flouished in the mid-nineteenth century.
