It was built <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dayfamilytree.ca\/getperson.php?personID=I60244&#038;tree=ddamd\">Ebenezer Clark<\/a> and old church and town records were kept here for many years. For eighty-five years <a href=\"http:\/\/mhc-macris.net\/Details.aspx?MhcId=NTH.468\">the house<\/a> was <a href=\"http:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=MBj-QYMKGXQC&#038;lpg=PA608&#038;ots=EWDuE5-89C&#038;dq=%22jared%20clark%22%20northampton&#038;pg=PA608#v=onepage&#038;q=%22jared%20clark%22%20northampton&#038;f=false\">the residence of Jared Clark<\/a>, who <a href=\"http:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=07AksUWVY0sC&#038;lpg=PA145&#038;ots=NzQQhyCuZU&#038;dq=%22jared%20clark%22%20northampton%20deacon&#038;pg=PA145#v=onepage&#038;q=%22jared%20clark%22%20northampton%20deacon&#038;f=false\">held the office of deacon at the First Congregational Church<\/a> for nearly fifty years, starting in 1839.
