The Town Hall<\/a> of Clinton<\/a> was built in 1909<\/a>. Designed<\/a> by Peabody and Stearns<\/a>, it replaced the previous Town Hall built in 1871-1872 that was destroyed by fire in 1907<\/a>. Brick for the building<\/a> was provided by Fiske & Co<\/a>. and terra cotta ornamentation<\/a> by the Atlantic Terra Cotta Company<\/a>.
