Butler<\/a> (1818-1897). It was designed by <a href=\"http:\/\/eng.archinform.net\/arch\/74039.htm\">Robert S. Stephenson<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stanford_White\">Stanford White<\/a>. After 1904, it was known as &#8220;Swann Cottage&#8221; and was home to Mrs. John Butler Swann. Later an inn, the house was acquired by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.austenriggs.org\/history\">Austin Riggs Center<\/a> in the 1950s (it is now <a href=\"http:\/\/thethirdtable.wordpress.com\/introduction\/\">the Center<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.austenriggs.org\/lobby-medical-office-building\">Medical Office Building<\/a>).
