Facing what was then called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worcestermass.com\/places\/images\/user-image-1181697092.jpg\">Armory Square<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/hdl.loc.gov\/loc.pnp\/det.4a12935 \">new Armory<\/a> was designed by <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fuller_%26_Delano\">Fuller &#038; Delano<\/a>, who also later designed the rear addition of 1907.  The building&#8217;s central tower was later shortened from its original height.  In 1994, the Armory was renovated to house the <a href=\"http:\/\/states.ng.mil\/sites\/MA\/DevLibrary2\/resources\/museum\/museum.htm\">National Guard Museum and Archives<\/a>.
