Land was soon purchased on Sugarloaf Street from Charles Mosher.  An 1850s carriage shed on the property was moved to a new foundation and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.panoramio.com\/photo\/68761851\">adapted<\/a> to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/49401850@N07\/5583763038\/\">become<\/a> what is now called <a href=\"http:\/\/dhsparish.com\/\">Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church<\/a>.  <a href=\"http:\/\/mass.historicbuildingsct.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Holy-Family-Parish.jpg\">Across the street<\/a> is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.holyfamilysd.org\/\">Holy Family Roman Catholic Church<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Catholics from western Ukraine who had settled in the area of South Deerfield formed Descent of the Holy Ghost parish in 1920.
