By 1930, membership had dwindled and the Friends joined the Unitarians and Baptists and formed the Bolton Federated Church, known as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.firstparishofbolton.org\/aboutus.html\">First Parish of Bolton<\/a>.  In 1952, the Friends deeded <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/kevystew\/3549380081\/\">their former meetinghouse<\/a> to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osv.org\/explore_learn\/village_tour.html?S=L-22\">Old Sturbridge Village<\/a>.  It was moved <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickriver.com\/photos\/kevystew\/3550186412\/\">to Sturbridge<\/a> in 1953 and restored to <a href=\"http:\/\/members.virtualtourist.com\/m\/p\/m\/1ff988\/\">its original 1796 appearance<\/a>, necessitating the removal of an 1818 addition.   <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Quakers in Bolton formed the Friends Meeting in 1779 and constructed the Bolton Friends Meetinghouse in 1795.
