There are <a href=\"http:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=rlcMAAAAYAAJ&#038;pg=PA163#v=onepage&#038;q&#038;f=false\">other properties<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=rlcMAAAAYAAJ&#038;pg=PA156#v=onepage&#038;q&#038;f=false\">in Marblehead<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=rlcMAAAAYAAJ&#038;pg=PA158#v=onepage&#038;q&#038;f=false\">associated<\/a> with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cyberancestors.com\/cummins\/wc55\/wc55_041.htm\">Ambrose Gale<\/a>, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zillow.com\/homedetails\/3B-Wadden-Ct-B-Marblehead-MA-01945\/2138440329_zpid\/\">a c.1700 house on Wadden Court<\/a>.  <a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_5Ys6ypDyzTM\/THqT7UI8WsI\/AAAAAAAACI8\/At8m0_QprXI\/s1600\/IMG_3544.jpg\">The house<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/killearnan\/72983066\/\">on Franklin Street<\/a> now has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.duncanhartley.com\/index.php#mi=2&#038;pt=1&#038;pi=10000&#038;s=16&#038;p=2&#038;a=0&#038;at=0\">sash windows<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marbleheadhistory.org\/exhibit4\/e40963a.htm\">instead of<\/a> the original casement windows.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ambrose Gale House, 17 Franklin Street in Marblehead, is considered to be the oldest surviving house in town.
